Our Founder

Rosemary Breman
Founder
Rosemary was the Founder of the Rosemary Breman School of Dance. Rosemary started dancing at the age of 8, at the Ayr School of Dance in Scotland, where she studied and trained until she moved to Canada in 1981 , and this is where she continued her training in dance.

She is a member of the B.A.T.D. (British Association of Teachers of Dancing), a life member of the B.A.T.D., and was previously the Chairperson of the Eastern Ontario Branch of the B.A.T.D. Rosemary is also an adjudicator with the S.O.B.H.D. (Scottish Official Board of Highland Dance).

Rosemary had a very successful competitive career in dance, and some of her most proud accomplishments was placing in the British, North American and World Championships. She has performed in Belgium, Germany, England, Scotland, and all over North America.

She taught many workshops throughout North America, and won many awards and accolades for her choreography.

Under her tenure, students have been very successful in examination, competitions and scholarships. Rosemary successfully assisted students to attain their Teacher’s Diploma in the B.A.T.D.

Rosemary believes that friendships, bonds and memories that are created through dance will last forever, and the passion for dance that she has will continue to shine through her students. Rosemary's passion and dedication will continue to live on in the studio.
