Lauren Breman
Director/Principal
Lauren has been dancing with The Rosemary Breman School of Dance since the age of 2. Lauren trained in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Highland, Jazz, Musical Theatre and Hip Hop.She had a very successful competitive Highland Dance career winning many awards and accolades. Her favourite dance memories include recitals and travelling all over Canada to compete.
Lauren has been chosen for Ballet and Tap Scholarships with the B.A.T.D.
Lauren started assisting classes in 2005 and has been teaching since 2013. Lauren took the reigns of the dance studio in the Fall of 2020. Lauren hopes to bring the same passion, caring and commitment to the studio that has been instilled in her from all the years of learning from her mother Rosemary. Lauren achieved her teachers certifications with the British Association of Teachers of Dancing and the Scottish Dance Teachers' Alliance. She is also a member of ScotDance Ontario and ScotDance Canada. Lauren reminds students to have fun and point your toes!
Lauren is a graduate from the Child and Youth Worker Program at Algonquin College and is currently an Educational Assistant for the Upper Canada District School Board.
Lindsay Wright
Teacher
Lindsay has been with the Rosemary Breman School of Dance since the age of six, and has been teaching for us for 21 years. She achieved her teacher certifications with the B.A.T.D. (British Association of Teachers of Dancing).
Lindsay was a competitive dancer competing internationally for many years. Over the past 21 years, Lindsay has been choreographing and teaching Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Highland, and Modern.
Lindsay is a honours graduate from the Police Foundation Program at Algonquin College and is currently the Children’s Outreach Coordinator for Interval House.
Lindsay would like to remind her students to “Keep Calm & Sparkle.”
