Rosemary Breman
Director/Principal
Rosemary is the Director of the Rosemary Breman School of Dance. Rosemary started dancing at the age of 8, at the Ayr School of Dance in Scotland, where she studied and trained until she moved to Canada in 1981 , and this is where she continued her training in dance.

She is a member of the B.A.T.D. (British Association of Teachers of Dancing), a life member of the B.A.T.D., and was previously the Chairperson of the Eastern Ontario Branch of the B.A.T.D. Rosemary is also an adjudicator with the S.O.B.H.D. (Scottish Official Board of Highland Dance).

Rosemary had a very successful competitive career in dance, and some of her most proud accomplishments was placing in the British, North American and World Championships. She has performed in Belgium, Germany, England, Scotland, and all over North America.

She has taught many workshops throughout North America, and has won many awards and accolades for her choreography.

Under her tenure, students have been very successful in examination, competitions and scholarships. Rosemary has successfully assisted students to attain their Teacher’s Diploma in the B.A.T.D.

Rosemary believes that friendships, bonds and memories that are created through dance will last forever, and the passion for dance that she has will continue to shine through her students.

Lindsay Wright

Teacher

Lindsay has been with the Rosemary Breman School of Dance since the age of six, and has been teaching for us for 18 years. She achieved her teacher certification with the B.A.T.D. (British Association of Teachers of Dancing) in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Highland.

Lindsay was a competitive dancer competing internationally for many years. Over the past 18 years, Lindsay has been choreographing and teaching Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Highland, and Modern. Outside the studio, Lindsay has worked with children at local summer camps for the past 2 years, teaching dance. Lindsay has also instructed at various schools in the community helping them with their dance curriculum.

Lindsay is a honours graduate from the Police Foundation Program at Algonquin College and is currently the Children’s Outreach Coordinator for Interval House.

Lindsay would like to remind her students to “Keep Calm & Sparkle.”

Lauren Breman

Teacher

Lauren has been with Rosemary Breman School of Dance since the age of 3. Over the past 18 years, Lauren has trained in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Highland, Jazz, and Hip Hop.

​She had a very successful competitive career winning many awards and accolades.

Lauren has been chosen for Ballet and Tap Scholarships with the B.A.T.D. Lauren started assisting classes at our studio 14 years ago and has been teaching for the past 7 years. Lauren achieved her teacher certification with the B.A.T.D. (British Association of Teachers of Dancing). Lauren is a graduate from the Child and Youth Worker Program at Algonquin College and is currently an Educational Assistant for the Upper Canada District School Board.
