Rosemary Breman
School of Dance
About Us
The Rosemary Breman School of Dance was established in the fall of 1982 by Director Rosemary Breman with a commitment to providing exceptional dance training to individuals of all ages in Carleton Place, Almonte, and the surrounding communities.
Operating under a rigorous and respected grading system accredited by the British Association of Teachers of Dancing (BATD), the school upholds the highest standards in dance education. We are dedicated to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment, where students are encouraged to reach their full potential and shine both inside and outside the studio.

The Rosemary Breman School of Dance is located at 50 Bennett Street, Unit 8-10, Carleton Place. Our classes are thoughtfully structured to ensure that each student experiences a sense of accomplishment as they progress through various levels of instruction.
As a non-competitive dance school (with the exception of Highland Dancing), we focus primarily on preparing students for examinations, scholarships, and the attainment of professional qualifications. While competition is not our emphasis, our dancers actively engage with the community through performances for local organizations, hospitals, schools, and senior care facilities. Additionally, we host an annual recital at the end of each year, offering all students the opportunity to showcase their talents and celebrate their progress.
